To launch the latest book from top gear presenter Richard Hammond, book publisher Dorling Kindersley asked Lateral to design and develop an interactive game. Aimed at children and parents, the site offers users tools and tips on the science behind building cars.

The game ‘Hammond’s Car Science Challenges’ is an interactive experience enabling the user to build their own car by selecting the various components including speed, weight, wheels and shapes. Once their car has been built, they can then challenge their cars against other designs. The site has been developed to push users through to the Dorling Kindersley site where they can purchase the book.
